Angry Town + Sam Jones (support)

Probably the ONLY example of a Brit fronting a Polish band in POLAND during The European Union years & beyond! A live band, a studio project & a banner for releases! ANGRY TOWN plays new originals & covers whilst providing their frontman a way to faithfully reproduce some works from his back catalogue as a songwriter. With official & unofficial line ups, you never know which version of ANGRY TOWN you’re going to get! Never comfortable with the punk label they have used ‘mod-punk’ to avoid any stereotypes. The band are a refreshing antidote, yet still manage to somehow slot into the genre.

The original band formed in a tiny town in Poland called Gniewkowo in early 2017 supporting British band The Membranes for their debut show, releasing a cover of The Damned’s ‘New Rose’ as their debut single. The last ANGRY TOWN live performance took place in late 2022 supporting Tim V’s Sham 69. A collection of relevant old & new recordings were compiled & released as their debut album in 2023 by Camouflage Records. The album’s title ‘No Second Chance’ takes a sinical pop at ‘Polish mentality’ as observed & experienced by their singer.
